Our Group

Taige (Tyler) Li

CWRU class of 2024, Mathematical Physics

Tyler is currently working on improving the resolution of the Optical Data Storage by utilizing methods from STED microscopy.

Achintya Sunil

CWRU Class of 2024, Mathematics and Physics

Achintya is working toward imaging the drug dissolution process using single molecule spectroscopy techniques.

Group Alumni

Grace Metz (CWRU class of 2024, Physics): Grace worked on reducing the threshold laser writing power for optical data storage by the use of nanoparticles. She presented her findings at the SOURCE intersections student symposium, 2022. She is currently looking for REU opportunities for the summer of 2023.

Are you excited about interdisciplinary science? Want to join our group?

We are always looking for interested undergraduate scientists and engineers to work with us. Our work is at the interface of physics, chemistry, biophysics, materials science, chemical and biomolecular engineering, and optics. No prior experience of doing science in the lab is necessary – just passion to talk about science, work hard, and having fun while learning new science. Please contact Prof. Anuj Saini if interested.
